Living Arrows 2015 – 28/52

One of my dreams for our family in years to come (when we can afford it!) is to live in the countryside not far from the coast. A spacious cottage, lots of natural light, the ability to stare out the windows with a feeling so tranquil, over looking a garden with endless exploration opportunities, a place to walk freely for much needed fresh air, leading a simple life with less distractions.
Peace and freedom to enjoy one another.
For now, we are putting our heart & souls into creating just this in our new home minus the seaside & countryside, even though we do have areas near us in this big city. That being said, when needed, we will go and find places that gives us the feeling of all those things mentioned above even if in a smaller measure.
Some afternoons can be troublesome when you have three little ones who are feeling a little out of sorts, tired, waiting for dinner and a Mama who is needing a little breather too. In moments like these, we always find the simplicity of getting some fresh air to do wonders. We’re lucky to have this little nature reserve area about 5 minutes away from our house, so the weather was on our side displaying that beautiful golden evening light, the girls took their scooters, Phoenix was in his little trike while my sister and I walked them up to the little area. We wasn’t there long, but enjoyed running about, exploring the little nooks and tree stumps, then making our way back through the other entrance.
Simplicity enables clear thinking, when all other things may seem so clouded.

Sometimes, you need to step outside, get some air, and remind yourself of who you are and who you want to be.
Looking down on those lashes, that little button nose and flicks of golden hair.
Why not join in on this wonderful & inspiring project where lots of us embrace and document our littles & their amazing souls. Every single Monday, this little community shows me so many inspirational things, so if you’re in need of a little ‘pick me up’ and love photographing your littles, Click the badge below!

Surely Phoenix was a little tiny baby just a few weeks ago – where did that big boy come from!! And I know what you mean about needing to get outside. Singing and being outside is my recipe for happy days!

Such beautiful captures. Sometimes we definitely need to get out and feel some fresh air on our faces. So lovely you've got a nature researve near you; open and beautiful spaces are invaluable when you have children. You captured some beautiful smiles and childhood freedom. #LivingArrows

Beautiful pictures – we have a similar dream of a house in the country but like you for now we just have to make do with the local park! It's amazing how some fresh air can make everyone feel better.
